I have been working in the world of the healing arts since 2004. In 2003, I began the accelerated Massage Therapy Diploma program at the Chicago School of Massage Therapy (CSMT), also later known as Cortiva. Upon my graduation, I became licensed as a Massage Therapist both in the State of Illinois as well as through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB). I have maintained my license and my certification through ongoing continuing education and both are still in good standing. I have been thoroughly trained in Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Sports Massage techniques and am also certified in pre-natal massage.

My experience is vast as I have worked in both clinical environments (chiropractic offices) as well as spas where the environment was more relaxing and/ or holistic in nature. In addition to my work as a massage therapist, I have also worked in the fitness industry since 1998 as a Certified Personal Trainer. I am currently still certified as a trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE). I have also held a certification through the National Strength Professional Association (NSPA).

My work as a personal trainer has given me great insight to the human body and how it functions, and has only aided me in my work as a massage therapist. My experience in both worlds has allowed me to grow as a healer. In 2006, I began my studies in Reiki at the Mystical Sciences Institute in Evanston, IL, under the guidance of Billie Topa Tate, the owner of the school and a high-level Reiki Master herself. I completed Reiki levels 1, 2, and 3 and became a Certified Reiki Practitioner. In 2020, I went through that same training a second time, and in 2021 I completed my Reiki Master/ Teacher 1^st Degree program. In
2023, I completed my Reiki Master/ Teacher 2^nd Degree training. Most people describe a Reiki session as being an incredibly relaxing experience that leaves them feeling rejuvenated and restored. I am also a trained actor and I received my BFA from Missouri State University in 1996.
